New Oxidized Pendant
This is the pendant I just completed. It is 1 1/2" x 3 1/2", sterling silver, 18K gold and it contains piece of shell which is bezel set. I have oxidized the pendant and chain. I have mixed feelings about blackened silver. If I show this piece, I will need to create companions. It cannot be the only one like it. What do you think? Would you buy something with this look? Would you wear it?

SOFA SHOW:
Friday, my mom & I went to the SOFA* (sculpture, objects, functional art) Show at Navy Pier, in Chicago. As always, it was fun (I see lots of friends and spend time with my mom) and it was exciting!
There was so much wonderful work, my head is spinning with ideas!
All of the sculpture at the show, made me think about "Little Village" group. I have more thoughts on these.
